The Yellow Van (Oz Harvest)

The Yellow Van is a charity that rescues excess food which would otherwise be discarded. This perfectly good food is distributed free of charge to charities supporting the vulnerable in Canberra. Delightful Baskets has teamed up with The Yellow Van to donate 10% of the price of any hamper sold if you mention them when ordering, either via email or phone.

Customer Service

How to Order
  • Internet ordering online via our secure website. Simply choose the gifts you would like to purchase and follow the instructions through to checkout to pay securely. We use Paypal as our payment system, where you can pay via Visa, Mastercard or from your bank account. Paypal is safe and secure and you don't need to have an account with them in order to pay. We also accept payment via direct deposit into our bank account - bank details are displayed during checkout, or by credit card where your details come through to us for processing. If you choose to send through your credit card details, we also accept American Express but charge a 3% surcharge to cover their commission fees. Please note: If paying via direct deposit into our bank account, the order won't go out until the money has appeared in our account, or you send through a receipt for the transaction.

Delivery Information
Delightful Baskets offers delivery to all destinations in Australia, including remote areas, during business hours Monday-Friday. No deliveries are made on weekends.
Please Note: Deliveries in ACT & Queanbeyan are made between 2pm - 6pm 7 days a week, unless otherwise requested - please call to organise this. Interstate deliveries are made between 9am-5pm Mon-Fri and we cannot organise specific times for this.

Same day delivery is available for the ACT, Queanbeyan and surrounding areas 7 days a week, if orders are placed before 12 noon. Orders can still be delivered the same day if ordering after 12 noon, but we cannot guarantee this. Please call us on 0410 645 482 to confirm the same day delivery if you have any concerns or questions.
Overnight deliveries (Mon-Fri) are made to all capital cities within Australia (except Adelaide, Hobart, Perth and Darwin) if orders are placed before 11am. (Please Note: Our large hampers don't come under the next day delivery...see item description for further details. If you do require next day delivery for these large hampers, an extra delivery cost will be incurred, please call for details). Most deliveries are made within 2-3 days outside the capital cities, but more remote areas may take up to 4 days or longer (depending on where your gift is going – if you would like a more accurate time frame, please contact us by calling 0410 645 482 or emailing Contact Delightful Baskets).
Please note that we cannot 100% guarantee that your order will arrive within these times (especially at peak times). They are a time frame only and can be affected by circumstances beyond our control, such as the weather conditions.
If you cannot guarantee that someone will be available to receive the delivery, you can submit an ‘Authority to Leave’ request and your order will be left unattended at the recipient’s address. (To submit an 'Authority To Leave' request, please do so via the 'Contact Us' page). Please Note: ACT & Queanbeyan deliveries will be left, where suitable, in a safe place at the recipient's address if no-one is home. If you do not want the delivery left, please contact us. Alternatively, if the recipient has a business address, this makes a good option. If re-delivery is required, further charges may apply. Please ensure the recipient of a gift containing alcohol is aged 18 years or over.
Multiple orders to the one address may incur a reduced delivery rate. This reduced rate will depend on what you are sending. We will contact you with the new delivery costs. For larger corporate orders, please contact us for delivery costs.
Delightful Baskets is not responsible for your order once it has left our premises, but please be assured that all care has been taken to make sure your gift is packaged securely. In the unlikely event that your order is damaged in any way, please contact us.
During the Christmas period, please allow more time for deliveries. To avoid disappointment, please order early as this is the busiest time of the year for us and although most deliveries do arrive on time, please keep in mind that sometimes this may not be the case.
In the unlikely event that an item is unavailable, we will substitute it with an item of the same or greater value.
Your privacy is very important to us and we take all matters of security very seriously. Delightful Baskets guarantees not to sell any information provided to us by you and we will only use your information for the processing and delivery of your gift, which will include providing couriers with the necessary information to ensure your gift arrives at its destination.
Liquor Licence
Delightful Baskets is licensed to sell liquor. Liquor Licence number – 14005598. It is an offence to sell liquor to anyone under the age of 18 years. Please ensure the recipient of a gift containing alcohol is 18 years or over and available to sign for the delivery.
Returns and Cancellation of Orders
Please contact Delightful Baskets immediately if an order you have placed needs to be cancelled. Please note that we do not accept cancellations simply for change of mind, and if your payment has already been processed, the cancellation will be at the discretion of Delightful Baskets.
If the gift arrives at its destination and has been damaged, or you have any other concerns, please contact us immediately on 1300 130 583. Please note that if your gift has been damaged during delivery, you must contact us within 24 hours of receipt of the delivery. After this, Delightful Baskets cannot proceed with the claim. All other claims for a refund must be made within 5 days of delivery.
Delightful Baskets cannot be held responsible for any perishable items outside of the ACT and Queanbeyan region.
